Well the update is finally released and the new stuff is really quite kewl.
krans have body chain u can see it now.
they have a sitting animation and they move when sitting.
Mounts now we can ride horseys........... just kidding.
few changes to npc's
sytem message **** is nearly dead
Gaming boards are in brados pub
well theres some things devs have.
chain gloves
helmets.
chain boots.
IMPLEMENT IT DEVS PLZ PLZ PLZ! i just cant w8
add more when u find it.

well its in the files but we cnat launch it i dont think its fully implemented
Edit: any chance the devs can giv us a pic of a few new stuff thats not "fully" implemented but in the files.

aparrently it's supposed to be somehwere in the game that you play it, not something you can use everywhere, but we have to find where it is.

well u cnat exactly find any of the stuff lol. nothin is there tarel and i helped a bit did a full sweep of yliakum's npc's and u cnat buy antthin new.

Not really. How realistic is it to assume that all characters carry around a full set of game pieces and a board, and is it really acceptable to stop in the middle of the road to play?

look at it this way. last time it took a week. this oen took two days. there still testing things as we r playing this time. were gettin in erlier but not havin everythiing.

At some point we will just need an item which can be beught somewhere and it will be the game set. So you will be allowed to play anywhere if one of the players have the set.

Not really. How realistic is it to assume that all characters carry around a full set of game pieces and a board, and is it really acceptable to stop in the middle of the road to play?
On the other hand most people do carry around a lot of ores, weapons, glyphs, and money without sinking through the ground. A louse pocket-sided chess board will not add much weight to that :-)

That's true, but these things are real items.. Playing anywhere after buying a portable game set is reasonable. Playing anywhere fullstop.. Eh.
Personally I wish there were some more realistic way to carry all this stuff around :/ I have two gold falchions, two silvers, two broadswords, one sharp broadsword, two mugs, a bunch of ores, a glyph, leather armour AND chainmail armour, and my character still looks tiny.. WHERE does she put it?

i think you have mistaken that bowl for a helmet my friend hehe. but still its good to know we have helmets somewhere. i shall tell everyone ingame now

The chess is indeed in-game and yes, you have to go to a specific location to play it.
It works like this:
You find the location (you can talk to one of the npc's there to make sure you have the right location)
You right-click on the chess thingy there.
You click on the hand icon, the text over it says "Play Game"
Another player does the same thing
You can play now
Other players can do the same thing too and spectate.

The only minigame on the Laanx server is currently in the NPC room. The minigame that the settings team wants to have has 13 rows and 9 columns. With the current minigame window pieces on the board are too small that you need a magnification glass to see them :)

So they are now working on a different game that works better with the current window size and could be tested.

Yes, it will be. It just needs a better name and description that would fit the settings. "Test Game" and "A minigame for testing" are not appropriate for an RPG like Planeshift :)

Theres some other ones that Xordan was moddeling for us last night. really good looking the helmets. even if they dont fit perfectly.

The chess board works now as most ppl will see by reading the serva motd. brados pub.
