not to be picky, i liek this game, but
is the gfx gonna change or be better later on?
is the look of the movement of characters gonna change? it looks like cheesy...
will there be a choice of moving with ur mouse(like click where u wanna go) later on? if not, pleeeeeeeeease implement that!!! it should be where u just have to hold ur mouse down and travel-not having to click on a place then a place ahead of it whenever u wanna travel. u know wat i mean?
also, how many people are on at a time in ps?

Concerning movement there was a pretty good thread(Player Movement (http://hydlaa.com/smf/index.php?topic=24702.0)) which hopefully, if you read it through, wlll yield the answers and explanations you're looking for. Otherwise, state your idea in this thread.

Zaku, read before you waste other people time because of you being lazy ;P
Movement system from your dreems is already in game and was there since very long time.

Considering that this game is only at version 0.3, it is safe to assume that the look of the game will only improve. When we hit 1.0 it could very well look like another game entirely when it comes to quality :]
The server is usually populated with 100-150 players, sometimes topping 200.
Keep in mind that this game is built entirely by volunteers - we make no profit from it, and we have real jobs and real lives that come before development (usually :P), and we're not necessarily professionals. It's a learning experience, for artists especially. The game has improved drastically from the first 3D version, Atomic Blue, and it will only continue to go up.

I think bump maps are on the list somewhere.

oh thats good. cant wait till it comes out! yes, i know its a nonprofit game. this is a very very well made game, especially for a nonprofit game.
*edit*
but seriously i still think there should atleast be a choice of moving with the mouse, like in knight online.

there is, i already wrote it.
Just test all the options in options window. then you can point them out and tell what exactly you need x)

For mouserun, you want -
Options -> Controls -> Keys
Camera
Mouse Run
Click "set"
I recommend something like ctrl+leftclick, and not the click itself, otherwise it will get in the way of targeting npcs, etc.
