Hay un nuevo fansite de planeshift en español!!!!
les doy la dirección: es [ Link removed ]
si ya lo se, originalmente es un foro, pero ademas de conversar tiene una sección de info del juego!!
recien ha comenzado y tiene muy pocos temas
en este momento estan haciendo moderador a todos los que se registran!!!

para serlo sigan los siguientes pasos

vayan a la pagina del fansite
registrense
envien un mensaje privado (por medio del mismo foro) al usuario:  admin   , y diganle que desean ser moderadores

actualmente estamos haciendo mod a TODOS LOS QUE PIDAN

preguntas o comentarios haganlos aki

Its not a broken link, you just have to do clic in "Continue to planeshift:..."

maybe your connection, or it could also be that as u use firefox, maybe its supported only by Internet Explorer??

Nope, that's just Firefox completing a sentence :] Something's just blocking my connection to the site (no firewall) but it doesn't matter.

Again, a translation for your first post is rather mandatory.

The site loads on firefox.
But i can't understand why you people register at this .tk crap. Its for one use only, when you are telling someone the link, because its easy to remember, but if you are posting it, provide the original link too: [ Link removed ]

yea, it is only a way to start, we need mods!!
but, of course, when we have enough members, well erase mods that arent necesary, and replace them with other members that have more knjowledge about PS

I don't see why that's necessary to begin with though? It would be great if you immediately get hundreds upon hundreds of members, but that's not likely for a while, and thus you're not likely to have a ton of roudy problem makers. You and 1-2 other trusted people should be just fine.

Also: Please remove the Quests section! That is a major spoiler and not allowed. You can share quest solutions privately, not on a forum.

If they aren't removed, you can always delete this thread and any others that reference that site.   Teach them a lesson about how PS doesn't support that type of stuff.

Not if it's a public website. We don't allow public spoilers, no matter where it is :> Sure, people can make sites and share them with each other and none of the PS staff will know. Once we do know though, it's a different story.

Ah ok, (i'm starting to feel like i'm pushing it a bit but anyway here go's) so how is it enforced when people share quest info? because alot of people in-game will tell you how to do a quest from start to finish. Is it a banning offense? (just to clarify i don't share quest info and never really asked for much help on them past trying to buy quest items i couldn't find on my own)

Sharing quest info in game to friends is fine.  Just not through the help channel.  Putting it on a secure guild website that is for members of your guild is fine.  Putting it on a public place that anyone can access and see is not.

(at least that is my understanding of it all)

Neko explained it perfectly. Sharing "publically" means that anyone at any time and come and see the quest solution without doing anything - asking anyone, trying it for themselves, etc. If you share solutions between friends, right on - there's nothing wrong with helping out those who ask or those who really need a hint. Public websites however eliminate the need for any further interaction between people. You browse, you find your answer out of the game, and you're done. Less than ideal for us :}

So far we haven't had anyone actively refuse removing quest information from their public forums or websites - though if we do make a request and get a "No" straight-out, I have no qualms about in-game bans ;P

those are always fun, I remember hitting my first one, 'twas a speed hack i think, I had to be sure first, so i had a /teleport me <name> and was hitting up + enter as fast as i could, we both pretty much crossed ojaroad in a matter of seconds >_>. anyways... im going off topic.. naughty me

But what about if someone gave a bunch of quest solutions to someone who didn't play PS at all and had them put it up on THEIR website, without crediting anyone for the information? How would you prevent that from happening? You don't have authority to do anything outside the game...
