Title: Name changed

For some reason my name Serprent was changed few minuts ago by some GM T.... didnt catch the name from Seprent to Sepren!

I would like to know why it was changed!?!?!

Found the log:

> Your name has been changed to Sepren by GM Tarel

I guess it looked too much like "Serpent"... you can't use actual words as character names.

If you'd like to discuss the change, send a petition in-game and a GM will contact you to try to find a mutual agreement :]

hehe   they changed my name from Mytur banisdirty  to just Mytur.....be happy that your friends can still recognize the name. i am

Some of these changes are just wrong.IMHO
I can agree on the obvious names being changed, but I dont feel this is one of them. It is a new name, I have never seen it before.
If no one can have names that use the same leters as others, its gonna be a real pain. We are going to end up with a whole buch of names like"Plafredkrest", oops sory cant use that it has "Fred" in it. "plaflenkrest" oops cant use that  it has "Krest" in it.
I guess I'm just trying to say that some changes are not needed.

I know there was another thread on this, sory i didnt post it there. I was here and posted :surrender:

This thread isn't to discuss name changes. It's for one person - to understand why a name was changed and what to do if he/she disagrees.

We're not here to debate the specific change, whether we disagree or agree, because we have nothing to do with this situation and are just meddling.

Let's leave such issues for the people actually involved.
