I am working on a post to promote planeshift on my website and i would appreciate any help the community can give, commentary, screenshots, suggestions for content. I would like this post to rock and function as a strong advocacy of our wonderful game. So please add in anthing you would like to see in my post right here in this thread, you will be credited.

I have some pretty compositions of armors here (http://karyuu.com/art.htm) :] I don't think right-clicking to save 'em is possible, so I can send an image or two that you may like by PM or something. I've also always loved this post from Talad (http://hydlaa.com/smf/index.php?topic=21790.msg239603#msg239603) - it's a cool teaser of what's to come. I'll be thinking of more fun content!

To come to planeshift, and know what to do, what to expect brings warmth and a feeling of home to me, my escape from reality, despite the ups and downs throughout my time here.
To come to planeshift as a completely new person, knowing nothing of the world, knowing no one, but being greeted, helped, looked after, taught and cared for is somethign you will never find anywhere else, and it is this exactly about our community that makes so many of us think of Planeshift as home, and even at times when we're so angry, storm off and swear never to return, we always think of our good times here, want to return, and most commonly do.
to sum it up nicely, Planeshift is a home, it's our home.
I can't ask for anything more.

Already having a decent readership in the coastal regions of the U.S. sewersofbabel.com is taking off all over Europe and Southeast Asia ATM

Phinehas maybe a brief journal entry a day in the life of a resident of yliakum thing
just record what you do and see in one days time and i will try to match screenies to locations etc

[Hope maybe that this will help Xillix. I'm fairly new with RP, but you can change it in ways that you want to. And the names also lol.]
Kyzer wakes up, and stretches, thankful for a new wonderful day.
He walks out of his door and down the halls of a small keep. When he finnaly reaches the door to the outside, he takes a deep breat, ready to accomplish a new day. The door opens and he steps out, the streets are bustling with many races, and hears autions for apple pies and bread. He remembers that he needs to get new swords, so he starts on a walk to Harnquist. He passes many many differnet races, from towering krans, to elegant Lemurs. Every once in a while he sees a graceful enki, staying to the shadows. He continues to walk, and reaches a large group of people standing around Harnquist, the Hydlaa weapon merchant. He voice is loud and extends over the croud. Kyzer waits in line until he is next up, he fishes out 400 tria from his leather pouch and buys 2 short swords. He sheiths them and heads toward the arena, ready for the fights of the day.
The arena is heavily populated, and a line extends from the door. He waits paitently, and finnaly he is first. He drops 5 trias into the jar and walks in. He walks with other races down the hall and up the stairs to the seats. There is a tournament today, held by Proglin himself. He watches as two mages battle it out, fire and water streaming everywere. The croud ohhhs and awws, and finnaly, one mage falls, now only a burnt crisp on the ground. The victor stands panting with exauhstion, and Proglin gives him his reward.
"AND NOW FOR THE NEXT EVENT! SWORDS!, WILL ANYONE FIGHT?"
Kyzer walks out of the stands and down the halls, preparing for battle. There are numerous races, one of each, who are sharpening their swords. He waits in line, and finnally his name is called. He rushes out, and runs to the opposite side of his opponent, who happens to be a Kran. "ARE THE OPPONENTS READY?" they both nod. "FIGHT!" Kyzer rushes toward the enemy kran and in the split second, dodges the Krans sword while slashing him across his thighs. The croud screams with excitement. The Kran yells in agony, and turns around, infuriated. The run to each other again, and risking a slighted blow to the shoulder, trips the Kran. The Kran rushes downard and hits the ground. Kyzer takes his sword and points it at the Krans head. "I Yeild! I Yeild!" Kyzer puts his sword away and walks to Proglin, who hands him leather pouch full of trias. Well, this will keep me occupied
After a good day of fighting, Kyzer walks back, his hands on his swords, ready for a fight. He remembers what his father told him, "The city streets are never safe at night." He stays warry, noticing shadows moving, but they don't dare to attack him, for they know that his is skilled. He finally reaches home, has a word with a couple guild friends, reports to his guild master the days events, and goes to his chambers, where he lights a lantern, and writes in his journal. Then finnaly, sleep takes him.
[I am really actually a mage, but i thought that this might appeal to more people and that none of this was true, more of i was in the crowd cheering :P.]

he got stuck in the bronze doors, had to create a new character, and then they had that one noob wipe and he had to creat another one...AND THEN he got stuck in the bronze door again so he just gave up :( :(
