Well I hate! to be a noob but no one is able to tell me the training costs. you know where you spend progression points and tera on?

can somone tell me what the training costs are expecially for mining?

the costs goes up depending on your level in that aprticular skill, it will also cost more PP (and them oney is tria, not tera ;) )

I believe the average basic cost per progression point is 42 tria.

So does that mean the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything is "How many tria does it cost to get one PP's worth of training"?

It's hard to tell you how much money and progression points you need for training a skill/stat.
Each skill and stat requires a different amount of progression points to train it.
And with skills it's even more difficult to train, because each higher level will require more progression points and more money.

When you open you're skills and stats box, you see a yellow and red bar behind every skill/stat.
the first yellow bar, shows you the amount of training you need to do, before you can start it practicing
You need to fill the yellow bar till it's fully green and can't train higher anymore.
From that point you need to practice the skill till the red bar is fully green too and then you are done with that level.

Each progression point, that you are using will also cost you 42 trias.

Also if you look more close at the same bar, you also see a small blue bar.
This blue bar shows you how much progression points you have and how much you can train, compared to the required amount of training.

i was wondering if this training system will be improved in the future (i doubt it wont) because atm its a pretty stupid one.  ;D
just for doing mining u should get exp. but u should buy the skill in the first place.

The training system, as will all the other systems, is likely to be changed in the future. We needed something to get started with :]

Indeed. Finetuning is almost always a given in PS, but then again it's said to never be finished ;)

Perhaps another bar is due in the training window, a money bar. Would be quite useful, for me at least  :)

I don't see the tria required as buying a skill so much as "paying for the trainers time to teach you" and I like the idea that you need to prove your worthy of training by going out and earning some progression points. I have no problems with the current system, it was simple to figure out and easy to use. the idea that you have to do practical experience to  show you can put training into practice before being given the level appeals to me. {it is a pain in the butt sometimes in the higher levels to get to that next level, especially when the server crashes and you lose all the training you just did}

I do explain it simply.. if the blue bar is shorter than the yellow bar on the skill you want to train...you don't have enough pp for that skill. Now a cost bar? might get a bit crowded  and more difficult to figure out.  ???

Really? I think it makes perfect sense. You advance through theoretical and practical training. I agree that the order of both could be "free" so you have two bars you need to fill to gain a stat level...

last time (=long time) i checked, it was 50/pp

15 should be enough for the basics when on zero (maybe more with magic skills)

/me rubs sore finger from so much clicking

One click triaining if you have adequate tria and PP would be a Talad-send.
