I have created a forum, and want to know what people think of it and if you want to join etc.
Constructive and Negative critisism is taken. (just to be too mean :P)

first question: why do you think there is another forum needed in the www that covers topics highly discussed on dozenzs of other places?
from my own expierence with the old CoV (SoR) site: DO NOT USE PHPBB! it will be hacked as soon as some script kiddie finds it on google. google your way for a more secure forum software.

I made a forum as somewhere for me and friends to just hang out and chat, and partly because of my boredom.

Frankly I think it's too broad. You've too many different boards dedicated to completely unrelated topics. I think it would be much more interesting if it was more narrowed down.

That was actually the first thought i had.
If you truly want a good amount of people to join your community it would be best to specify on just one topic.
But again if it just for friends then, do what you like. :thumbup:

If you look in the proflie part you can change the colour scheme from a list of options. I think its just the default one if you are not logged in.

Such a decision is really up to you, as it is your forum. Choose a subject that you would generally like to have discussed most (or an umbrella subject that can have a lot of interesting but specific and related subjects under it) and go wild :}
