Title: Yo, whats up?

I JUST joined the fourms, just want to say hi...And umm, that all? Can anyone help me, in game, when i download it?


And a question, What do i download? their are so many dowload links, which one do i download 1st, and which one should i download last? it looks confusing..

Welcome to PlaneShift and the boards!

You download a client based on your operating system, and you can use either torrents (for a peer-to-peer network) or download the binary (.exe for example) straight from a website. It's usually easiest to use the binary if you're not familiar with torrents at all. So if you're on a Windows machine, you would use one of the following mirrors from the Downloads page:

You don't need to download anything else afterwards. After the installation completes, it's usually advised to run the updater just to check that everything you have is up-to-date. Then make sure you have registered for a game account, and hop right in :]

We have several stickied guides in this very forum section for beginners, and feel free to ask anyone for help in-game. Not everyone will stop running around to answer some questions you may have, but don't let that discourage you. You always have the Help channel in-game for pressing issues - it's the last tab in your chat window.

That patch was to update from 0.3.015 to 0.3.015b. Since the most recent release, the patch is no longer a part of the process.

The data is being uploaded to the server. That mirror doesnt have all the data, for download yet.
