Title: Duel monitor, one for ps and one for windows
Post by: Kecey Ghost on October 05, 2006, 07:41:54 pm: I have set up duel monitors (one monitor plus a projector for ps) and am get some lag when I play ps, am I right in thinking im gona need more ram and a faster gfx card?

current setup:

P4 2Ghz
2x 512MB DDR266 PC2100 MEMORY (1 gig)
128 Mb GeForce FX 5200

i sometimes use dual monitors for WoW and other things, like dvd or irc, and the only problem i encountered was a small drop in fps in WoW, think it may have been running in windowed mode that was causing that though >.>

But you don't need 512MB - something further down and perhaps more RAM will go a long way.

Edit: Cards in and had done the trick

Beuty Pack from Gamespot

FPS- 34 Outside, 89 inside capped at 60 (because of LCD screen tear)

All topped with a athlon 3800+.... wheee!!!
