Was planing to create a guild, aligned to the evil side, mainly to bring a bit of darkness into the happy days of common people. If someone is intrested or have complemnting ideas post here or contact me in game.

What ideas do you have, to start with? Anything beyond "dark guild"?

That's what i'm thinking of, something that would bring a lot of evil RP.. i have no real good ideas right now... But it will come soon.. Tomorrow maybe.. or untill someone starts giving me ideas then my brain probably would start ticking again

If that's all you have, I suggest joining an existing evil guild instead.

One of the worst ideas in a long time my friend :) I'll just keep it in mind untill i get a realy good idea, run through the History and browse the forum.. i know i will get a good idea soon enough!

Why is it a bad idea for you to join another evil guild? You obviously don't really have any direction, and you could probably learn some things.

I feel no need to join another guild, would feel verry bad to leave them, maybe if time shows i won't come up whit a good idea i might join the ranks of a guild that suits me

So if you feel no need to join a guild, why do you want to create one? Essentially what you're saying is you just want to lead a guild.

You have to have a certain amount of OOC maturity to RP a good evil character. Not saying you're immature. Heck, I feel the same way you do.
And yes, there is something wrong with "just wanting to lead a guild". It means you're going about the whole thing for the wrong reasons. You just want power, so basically you're creating a guild out of selfishness.

No i'm creating a guild because i wan't something new! Something that haven't been done before! I wan't to create a guild that gives ammounts of RP oportunitys.. power ain't something i realy care about i'll leave that to Peacer... and when it comes to my maturity it is enough to run a guild... I at least woudn't pick on a guy trying to start a thread on a forum trying to gather some minds and post ideas about a new guild..

I'm guessing it's gathering ideas on creating a guild with the above points you mentioned.
But what exactly do you mean, i think you need to be more specific, which ideas?
All we have currently is the purpose of the guild.
I don't think i can branch out randomly and create the ranks, just based on the Purpose.
Why not try this, if you don't like it just ignore what i'm about to suggest:
1. Create a story of how your guild came into creation.
2. List the purpose.
3. List the name of the ranks and responsibilities.
4. List the possible names of the guild.
I mean right now all you wrote was the purpose, I have no clue what you want the rank names to be, how the story should go, and what to name it.
Also, creating a guild just to be it's leader, without a vision, is a waste of time in my opinion.
If you truly want to be a leader, find something you want done in Yliakum that isn't being catered to and create a guild that serves that purpose.
It's good your trying to get info on the forums though and it's a step forward, but now you need to take the initiative and fill in some blanks before a Guild can be created.
A base is what is needed right now, for the foundation to stand on, build the base and the forums will help with the structure.

Ok, no need to worry about me anymore then.. found a few players to create it whit so we are discusing it right now... I'll post it all as soon as we have it all figured out and it is created...

It's nice that you want to do something evil that hasn't been done before, but unless you have an real idea of how to accomplish this, my advice is to not bother starting a new guild as it will fail.
Join a pre-existing guild. They will help you execute whatever ideas you eventually come up with.

the problem with pre existing guilds though is it's just a bit of the same old same old.

I disagree. There isn't really a cookie cutter for the guilds, and many of them are doing new and interesting things.

Well since you've been playing more i'd defer to your opinion.
I've seen a handfull of guilds and to me it's all same old same old.
But again you've had the privelage to see more than i have so i guess i need to keep a look out on a few more.
By the way zan, what do you think of elemental light? :D Heard of us?

After hours of planing we have a ruff idea of the first six months whit the guild anyway.. I'm sure there are at least a few of us that are born to lead, and hwo likes cookies anyway? ;)

This is a good question to answer, not because you have to prove yourself to Phinehas, but because it would help attract members to your guild.

To answer the BIG question:
No this won't be a noob guild, only recruiting RPing people and people that realy are willing to learn RP
And darkest wish will not be the name of the guild we came up whit a better idea 8)
And i hope the Semi-god Phinehas won't smack me whit that flat hand of fury ::)

But ontopic. Feel the idea of an RP evil guild isn't new nor is it nonexistant atm. Guild like the Outlaws were definately created with RP in mind. The Dark Empire I think is also very RP active. This would leave the story o be different, but that you don't seem to have, so will see what comes but so far it sounds like any newbguild that says it's evil so please suprise me by not being one.

The big idea is mainly to not be evil in the same way as any other.. not chaotic like The thieves and the Outlaws and not do anything like the Dark Empire eighter.. It's not going to be a newb guild i promise that to everybody! Tough it's still a mather of time untill we will reveal opurselves in public :)

Hey Garile, don't put us in with the evil guilds. We're not evil. We're simply amazing.
Zeijin: First off I'll start by saying, you're not aligned to evil. No one is. You can be seen as evil, you can be called evil, you can think you are evil, you may want to be evil. But you're definetly not aligned to evil, as there is no such thing as an "evil alignment" or an "organization of evil" or "the evil side." Not on PS.
Read my guild creation guide that is linked on the current stickied guild creation guide. It should provide some guide lines as to how you should go into making your guild something with essence.
I'll ask you one more thing: Whatever you do, don't put "dark" or "darkness" in your guild name. We've got "Eye of Darkness", "Disciples of Darkness", "Dark Shadows", "Dark Sisters", "Dark Humbajunkamawhatever." So please. Be original. Those who think I'm being "hypocrit" as I own an organization called the Dark Empire: may you know that we were original when we chose the name. Because at that time no one had dark in their names. So there.

Not all evil guilds are about power and fame. I've been involved with a number of "evil" guilds that have different goals. One was based on the pursuit of personal imrpovement and perfection. Another was based on destroying the world, in a way. Another was set up just to cause as much chaos as possible. Most of them didn't really care about fame, while many of the individuals were even trying to avoid fame alltogether.
