so i tried adding a space after the .exe then typing -relight so that it looks like this:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\PlaneShift Crystal Blue\psclient.exe -relight"
i hit apply and a message pops up saying: "the name "C:\Program Files (x86)\PlaneShift Crystal Blue\psclient.exe -relight" specified in the target box is not valid. make sure the path and file name are correct."
please help
-
"C:\Program Files (x86)\PlaneShift Crystal Blue\psclient.exe -relight"
Try putting the -relight parameter out of the quotes
"C:\Program Files (x86)\PlaneShift Crystal Blue\psclient.exe" -relight
-
maybe there are problems because of the spaces in the directiories?
-
"C:\Program Files (x86)\PlaneShift Crystal Blue\psclient.exe -relight"
Try putting the -relight parameter out of the quotes
"C:\Program Files (x86)\PlaneShift Crystal Blue\psclient.exe" -relight
thnx!
*edit*
well, it didn't fix anything... my guess is that i need more ram or a new graphics card. i have an old one but it's AGP and there's no AGP slot on my up to date motherboard. stupid onboard! =P
thnx everyone for the help anyways.

What nonsense, that error isn't caused by your hardware.
Just take the already existing shortcut to planeshift and add -relight OUTSIDE of the quotes.

*Eagel points up
That's what I said :whistling:
-
I know, and I repeated it.
What's that x86 doing in his shortcut anyway.
It's probably "C:\Program Files\PlaneShift Crystal Blue\psclient.exe" -relight
-
Eagel and ThomP:
I think Keeping the Blade means that the command worked with the suggested command line, but that the relight did not help his problem (of a probably too dark screen). :)
-
Ah now I read again I think that's indeed what he meant. Thanks for pointing that out, Lanarel :)
It's strange that it doesn't help, maybe turn up the brightness, update the graphics drivers, etc?
Also post your pc's specs so we can take a look at them.
