Title: fail to reach any server

I just downloaded the client this afternoon and i got version number 0.3.017  for windows.
I'm using  XP firewall and allowed acess for all the exe files of planeshift.

After launch of  psclient.exe   connection with server is written "failed"

How can i fix this ?

It's always like that when a new version is released, many bugs are discovered.
Just be patient, all will be well in due time.

i was thinking maybe French people cant connect to the server ?
i saw on the server stats that some people are currenty connected  : 80 peoples are connected.

I will be patient and wait.

i just found this game and was so astonished that it is free so that i wanted to try it.

You're right, we hate the French, everyone hates them.
We're so NOT going to let them connect, muhahaha!

edit: Check the settings of your firewall/router, it's all in the stickies so READ THOSE FIRST.

balto, your problem seems not related to any bug in game.
Check the file /data/Servers.xml and verify that the port there is 7777 otherwise, check your firewall as ThomePhoenix as said already.

I assume this is the first time you download the client.

maybe just turn the firewall off for 2 mins and see if you can connect?
