The top 5 beer drinking nations based on pints per person per year:

1. Czech Republic - 278.2 pints

2. Ireland - 265.4 pints

3. Germany - 216.6 pints

4. Austria - 188.1 pints

5. Luxembourg - 177.6 pints

Was anyone shocked that the UK wasnt listed there lol (I only post this because it was sat in front of me on the back of a packet of ciggarrette papers ;))

I think taking in the size of a country and it's population might have a huge affect on the numbers being what they are. To make each country equal in numbers and then do the survey would be interesting to see who drank the most.

Doesnt that do what you suggest? just because of a higher population doesnt mean an individual would drink more. anyway, this is sooooo off topic it made Phinehas (spelled your name correctly lol) say 'Meh' lol

Whopsie, a duh on my part. Only half read and processed that statement in my head. So .... Meh..... Don't try to multi task and hold conversations on the forums kids. It can be brain damaging.

[edit] You posted off topic so Phinehas is coming for you...... RUN!

I think it has something to do with our seasons and the harvest... because the further north you are, the shorter the growing season, so since thanksgiving is supposed to be a celebration of the end of the harvest, it coincides with the regional end of harvest season (though in the US because the climat is so polarized, I guess they just picked a date in the middle, since the growing season never ends in California)

I'm thankful for Canada.  They're awesome.
And my family, of course.  And large electronics companies.  And the beauty of talented work.

A little late, but meh.

I'm thankful for PS and the one who sparked my interest to stay in the game when I started to get bored with the whole testing thing and showed me what it was like to rp, zorbels.  :)

:-[ Wow, thanks for the warm fuzzies you two. I try my best to promote what I love so much about this game and that is the role-playing. From your posts I can see I am doing my job and that greatly humbles me. *hugs*
