Heya everybody
A beautiful lady, a daughter of a very wealthy Hydlaa merchant , was walking through the fields arouns hydlaa and was watching the beautiful nature around her. She was picking some flowers as a present for her beloved dad.
Suddenly she noticed that someone was following her and she turned around... but the only thing she saw was i bright light and suddenly all went dark around her...
when she woke up she found herself in a dark forrest where she has never been before... finally she saw who kinnaped her ... it was a big, strong and powerful creature which seem to be a strong warrior as well as a good mage...
a little boy has heard her heartrending and piteous screams and followed them ... he saw the bigcreature and thought it was his last moment of life .. but suddenly the creature starts to talk to him and said: "this lady belongs to me now... hehe if you want her back you have only one chance... try to defeat me in a fight.. but be careful if i will win the fight hehe the warriors who dared to challenged me will die and the lady will die to ... muuaarghahaha.. :devil:"
the boy ran as fast as he could back into town to tell everybody...
So we need to find out who is the best warrior and is able to save this beautiful young lady.
To find out who is this warrior we wanna start a duel competition on december 2 at 20:00 GMT (can continue to next day if needed).
Everybody is invited and it would be great if many people come :thumbup:
RULES:
1.NO POTIONS
2.NO INTERFERENCE (others healing you, grouping, etc.)
3.COMBAT WILL END WHEN ONE FIGHTER YIELDS OR DIES
4.JUDGES MAY STEP IN AT ANY TIME TO STOP THE MATCH IF THESE RULES ARE BROKEN(they also have the athourity to declare a fight over,so they need so be impartial)

So i'm guessing the use of any weapon is allowed Mirey?

as i know at the mom it is allowed to use the weapon you want... if this changes i will post it here

What kind of "big and strong monster is it?" And who is the "very important Hydlaa inhabitant?"

the organizator is gevay .. i am doing the promotion and tha advertising so that everybody knows thas a competition takes place ;D

I don't really think an Octarch would let a person convicted of murder judge who should save his daughter.

i woul be great if there are some who can help us with doing the job as healer ....

An whos to say that this levels Octarch even lives in Hydlaa? Would having the best warriors group together to fight the monster not be a more logical idea as well?

(i tried to make a suitable story for this duel competition sorry when something does not fit yet.. i am not so long in this game ... and btw i am a girl ;D)

@chazarus: Well if it doesn't fit the settings of PS it doesn't belong in PS. If it fit in it would be much more fun and more people would go.
@mirey: Maybe you should delay the event and have others more familiar with the game and its backround help you in the meantine. It could be a great event but if not realistic its not likely.

We can all organize things, but they are better events if they make sense from the RP perspective. You don't want to have a duel competition just for the sake of people fighting each other because it's "a fun thing to do." You want to attract people who can add life to the story, and to do that you need to have a solid foundation. This event, as it is proposed right now, is a hole in the setting. What Parallo and I are trying to do is point out that it can be improved a thousand-fold with a stronger background.

Perhaps drop the "daughter of an Octarch" bit and make it "daughter of a wealthy Hydlaa merchant" :] It would be far more believable. I don't know how you can hide anyone in the Arena though, it's not that kind of place. How can the monster "allow" only one warrior at a time, as well? Is it an enchanted, magical beast? Tefusang aren't really known for their intelligence, so something of a magical nature would help you plug the gaps. Give us some detail to how the kidnapping was done :]

Seems much better although you would probably want to give a better reason for only one person being able to fight than magic. Seems sort of a weak reason.

not right to say, i was never convicted therfore i am innocent, if i was guilty, surely by now i would be hung.... and if i was convicted then something would have happend to me. those are all rumors that can be spread but cant be proven so i find offense to the title "convicted murderer"

the beast is hiding and will only attack someone who has prooved themself worthy by winning this. Could be mastered by the beast who wants a good fight. And forces it by taking this hostage.
Oh and I would like to sign up, If I am not there I still can't log on :/

Prehaps convicted was the wrong word to use. How about an accused muderer. It is however right to say that the Octarch would not choose someone with such a bad romour hanging over his head. would he not leave it to a more upstanding member of the community?
And I ment no offence, it was just a thought that occured to me while reading.

first of all i am totally happy that some many good fighters wanna come....
[but know i have to tell you my saaaaad :'( :'( :'( story ... maybe i cannot come because i got a very very bad virus on my computer and now i dont know if i am able to come tomorrow... i really really hope my friend can fix it till tomorrow.....]
