Title: Trouble in Hydlaa
Post by: Coneitic on November 26, 2006, 09:06:50 pm
While walking through east hydlaa a few moments ago, i was stopped by the dwarf Gharin. He looked as if he was a little paranoid but still had anger in his eyes and sweat on his brow.He kept putting his hands to his face and staring at the blood as it dripped from his hands to the ground. I also noticed he had daggers drawn, which unless i caught him at the arena i never noticed them unsheathed. He quickly threw on a smile and pulled me into the library where, as it looked, he was alone with the library owner. As i was looking around the room to see any kind of disturbance, Jayose looked very nervous, he too was sweating but there was no anger in his eyes..... only fear. Something seemed wrong but it did not involve me so i couldnt care less.

I turned back to Gharin checking the doorway intently. I asked him "Hows things been?". He quickly gestured his finger over his mouth, then let it down to speak quietly. "Coneitic" he said "i need you to take this note to the tavern and post it up.... take this one to harnquist and post it... and take this last one to Brado's and post it up". At first i thought it was a joke, i am no servant. He quickly wrote something down on three pieces of paper, maybe only a word or two and handed me the notes and 20 circles with his other hand. Of course i accepted when i saw the trias. I smiled and said "With pleasure old friend". "Now what is so important on this note?"
I placed the circles in my pocket and looked down to read the notes.

To: Ogu Rainami, The Protectors and those concerned

On her way through East Hydlaa Lady Elyana has been kidnapped by Gharin and unnamed others, and are currently holding her at a remote place. She is harmed but she is not dead. if you wish to see her alive again. You have 2 days [real time] to come up with 5 hundred thousand trias.
Her wounds do not apear to give her more than a day to live.
 You will contact
                                                 Conetic

The name must have been what he wrote down before he gave it to me. I looked up in shock, but with a slight grin on my face, only to see Gharin had disapeared. I ran outside and looked around but couldn't find him. A smile came across my face and i said to myself outloud "Guess i better post this"

Hearing the disturbing news from Zorbels, Eolius doesn't know how to react at first. He soon regains his self-control and summons a guild meeting, sending his faithfull grofel to every Protector to cary this message "Everybody who shalt recieve this message, shalt summon at once at the gazebo behind the Laanx temple. Dark times are upon us, my friends, as one of us is in danger." Heading towards the gazebo, from Harnquist, where he was when he recieved the message, he was thinking with a woried look on his face "Blood will spill for this. I can't let this deed go ignored.", slowly feeling his warior blood starting to boil inside his veins.

/me walks to Harnquist to sell some of the loot she has aquired and sees a note. Garile reads it with a little bit of interest, shrugs and walks further to Harnquist to sell her loot wondering if the cullprits might be hiding in the sewers again.

[OOC]I was killed by the outlaws searching for the lost lady Elyana - Drah gave the order as I was "Too much baggage", Gharin stabbed me; my soul has been parted to Yliakum again, but I shan't return. Coneitic, this is out of hand[/OOC]

Ah - confusing, under Elyana's shouts and such

EDIT: No, I just officially hate every single Outlaw now - and perhaps Coneitic for being in this junk

And now that I think of it, I will make sure everyone knows - even though they have been moved... Their first location was too obvious....if you have a decent knowledge of psychology

dont blame me, or the outlaws, for one i am not affiliated with them, and two .... any bloodshed caused by this can be blammed on ogu, a quick ransom would have ended this just as quick, everyone who looses their life over this can be thankful of ogu's decission to worry more of trias than his wife

Ha! Dare you insult Ogu such as this - his wife is more important to him than the guild - anyone knows that. Your fault for not arriving with more haste, ahem...

And I already dislike the outlaws - they made the decision of my death, did they not?

i arrived when i could, you wanted to play hero and failed, and you could still be walking around enjoying all of hydlaa, all ogu had to do was pay

Hero? Ha! I simply walked into the cavern - they kidnapped me, and as they moved, I was killed! Simple. And you ask Ogu himself; I will not speak for him any longer.

Look - these past few days have been hectic for [my character]. I have my heart broke and break someone else's in the same day. I awake from my cot at the Tavern Kada-El with who else but Elvi outside my door. I walk downstairs to hear of Elyana's kidnapping, and run to Harnquist's to see Ogu. I start searching for her - I scour east Hydlaa, then look in the sewers, knowing the outlaws - I run into the cavern to be ambushed and kidnapped - I am soon killed. My luck is nothing, as of now.

The night before, Coneitic, in DR - I would hush if I were you.

Coneitic approaches Ogu with a deal. "Pay me 300k and i will lead you to your wife without the outlaws knowing". Ogu agrees and pays the debt. An army is gathered outside of harnquist and soon follows Coneitic to the whereabouts of the victim. Down the sewers they roamed till they found Gharin and the rest of the possie holding Elyana hostage. Her hands tied to the old rusty bars with a dagger to her neck. All you hear is a shout from Gharin "Not another step or she dies". The army stands back waiting for orders to pounce. "A simple trade is all, trias for her life", Gharin says. A look of distrust is thrown upon Ogu. But being out of options he seems to be in agreement. The friends of Gharin cut Elyana loose, still holding a dagger to her throat, and bring her forward to Gharin. Ogu, without hessitation holds his hand out to Gharin with a sack full of trias... 500k to be exact. Gharin takes the sack and peaks inside, his face rises with a smile. One quick gesture of his hands and Elyana is pushed into the army of friends. Through the distraction of the release, many of the ones responsible flee... along with ogu and his friends.. Gharin is left standing there in awe of the trias as Conietic walks to him smileing. At first Gharin grows anger inside of him at Coneitic but soon thinks and realizes this was all a plan. Coneitic and Gharin exchange items and Coneitic is seen walking off with his head held high.

[thanks for all apart in this and 250k will go to a guild who helps others, i belive it will be the xillix. everyone involved please take part in as many rps as possible, for the shear numbers in this within a few hours made this all the more fun]

/me feels some disturbance from the protectors aura, especially Ogu's and looks in his eyes seeing (insert feelings). He then peeks(sp?) his ears into the air and catches words enough to understand that his wife has been kidnapped. He arises from his position and get's ready to search yliakum.

[ooc]
now, I willl need my litwwe qwuient up and running before I can join (even play at all)... poor me :(
