It is a pretty weird thing, my char uses magic in fighting and no swords. I was fighting a rogue, he can't hit me, without weapons I don't hit him as well but with magic. I crashed in the middle of combat, so combat continued for a long time, until a friend succeeded in getting the rogue away from his invisible target.

Probably you have a problem with magic missile?
Please, try to turn on Vertex Buffer Object in pssetup and see if you are more lucky.

The vertex buffer set to on in setup solves all the problems.

It decrease the lag, especially while spellcasting the summon missile. I rally can't remember how it was before, but before i set it to on, the game was starting to lag once the spell was casted... before it crashed.
the waterfall in BD region actually looks more like waterfall and also the lag is decreased.
Concluding, it is good to have vertext buffer on, even if it is not because to fix the crashes. At least it is true for GeForce.
maybe it could be "on" by default when we instal game? Are there any downsides of this?
