For those of you Mac Users who are dying to play, Just run Windows on your Mac Intel.
:thumbup:It works great for me
-
not everyone has a mac intel
PPC users have the same impatience
-
I also doubt that many people who do have Intel Macs also have a copy of windoze :P
-
Oh well... ;D
Their loss
-
iHate you.
lol.
At least the downtime gives me an opportunity to get some work done. Pity I dont want to do any.
-
Why would anyone even think of considering to possibly use Windoze on a MAC? Would they actually buy a MAC if they wanted to run Windoze? Linux or BSD I could understand, but Windoze? Linux would AFAICS also run on PPC MACs, and allow you to compile PS there so you could play, no?
-
Let's not get into that discussion

You can sort of get Linux running on the Mac (with a lot of effort), but it still is PPC, not x86, so I dunno what the results of that would be. People with Intel Macs, I have one word for you: CrossOvers (WINE to you Linuxers). It's a much better solution than dual-booting. :)
-
What's crossovers????
-
Google it. ;) It's WINE for Mac, pretty much, by CodeWeavers.
-
Wow that application looks amazing! It doesn't even require a copy of XP. Although I am a little suspicious of it's content since it's still a beta
*edit*
I downloaded that thing, downloaded the version of PS (.exe), ran it, and it works! Although there is a few problems, as expected. The interface is see-through so I can't see simple HUD, and windows are see through but the text is visible. and the music is sloooww. I hope it's okay to run and not dangerous or anything :( :o
