allright:
macbook
OS X 10.4.8
that is what the console gives me, when i try to start:
dyld: Library not loaded: /System/Library/Frameworks/ApplicationServices.framework/Versions/A/ApplicationServices
Referenced from: /System/Library/Frameworks/AppKit.framework/Versions/C/AppKit
Reason: no suitable image found. Did find:
/System/Library/Frameworks/ApplicationServices.framework/Versions/A/ApplicationServices: mach-o, but wrong architecture
/System/Library/Frameworks/ApplicationServices.framework/Versions/A/ApplicationServices: mach-o, but wrong architecture
that hasn't got something to do with the game itself, but with my c, doesn't it?

From The Guide:
For detailed status information (including major known bugs and whether or not Planeshift will run on the Mac at this time), please see the Mac Client Status thread.
From the Mac Client Status thread:
Status on Thursday, November 23, 2006
The current server version is 0.3.017.
The current Mac client version is 0.3.016.
Planeshift will run on a Mac at this time.
You can not log into the server at this time.
Please be patient while dfryer puts together an update!
When the Mac OS X Client version to match the version of PlaneShift on the Laanx Server, is ready and released, we'll be able to download it and log in to the server on our Apple platforms...
...that will solve most of the problems we have in starting, but then we'll probably find we've gained access to a different set of problems! :D

Only if you don't update it. If you update it, new data files don't work with old client files. If you set permission bits on the client as-is from the DMG, it'll run. But you won't be able to log in. iLock.
