Title: connection to update server failed

hi, i get 73% done updating, then i get a "couldent connect to mirror mir2!" error.
it tries all the mirrors again, then says, "ran out of mirrors, game cannot be updated".
uhh, some help please?  :(

I had the same message.
Just retry, for me it had restart the update from the point where it was and succeed.

Can someone give a direct answer please;

There are a bunch of threads here with the same problem I'm having, and no solid solution has been given, just guesses. Can someone on the team give a solution for the updater mirrors not being available to some of us?   I have a PC with Xp and my graphics card fully updated. I have 3.017 successfully installed. I have updater version 1.1.1.1 

It's particularly annoying for me because after each attempt the updater wipes all my shortcuts. It says "Ran out of mirrors. Game cannot be updated"
The two pics displayed in the other threads are accurate.

Please help. Xylaal begs. :'(

[does it have anything to do with the line; Create   data/servers.xml ?]

not fixed in total, it still updates shortcutcommands.xml kinda annoying if you gotta redo all your shorts after a update, good thing i have a copy of it

well it still downloads the shortcut file over and over for me, i need to replase it every time
