This is a game I picked up in a forum a long, long time ago.
Basically, it goes a little something like this:
Bob wrote:
Good idea: Eating lunch
Susie wrote:
Bad idea: Eating toxic waste
So the object of the game is to poke fun at the good idea, and somehow turn it into a bad idea. For the most part, it can get pretty funny, and pretty addictive. It's a time waster, and then some.
Important!!! To keep the game going, you have to type out a new "Good idea".
With that said, I'll get it started:
Good idea: Brushing your teeth. :)
-
Bad idea: Sanding your teeth.
-----
Good idea: Use Open Source Software.
-
Bad Idea: Stealing someone else's work and saying you made it.
Good Idea: Petting little animals
-
Bad Idea: Petting a porcupine
Good Idea: Working out
-
Bad idea: Working out with plutonium weights.
---
Good idea: Learning to read.
-
Bad Idea: Not reading the forum posting policy.
Good Idea: Locking the thread.
( Some of the types of threads not welcome here are:
- Bored Threads
- Counting Threads
- Threads that ask people to answer a question or list a favorite where the answer is only a short sentence, and no discussion is involved

Well, I did read the forum policy, and I didn't think it met the criteria of being a question, bored, or counting thread.
My apologies.
-
The key point is: "where the answer is only a short sentence, and no discussion is involved."
But I'm no mod, so if they deem it as a legit topic then I apologise and request my posts be deleted and let the thread go back to being on track without my disruption in that flow. :)

Bad idea: Locking for no reason
Good idea: Not being a party pooper
And yes, I love me, so you guys should, too.
-
We'll leave it at that, Mister Non Sequitur :P
I prefer having discussion threads here - if you guys want to create a separate "game forum" as some have tried to do, certainly feel free to. While this thread is a fun idea, no useful discussion can come of it and single-sentence replies are best avoided.

Duely noted.
