each time I try to change my character description I crash to desktop.

Any pop-up windows, access violations? Are you typing any particular symbol when this happens? We definitely need more detail - right now your post is just scratching the surface.

I assume the problem is with the multilines.

I got the same problem, It happens when I click in the box (to get the typing cursors there) and sometimes when i'm lucky it doesn't crash there but then when i'm typing a few seconds I hear the error sounds and BOOM back to desktop ???
Hope this is off help ^^
Edit: So i also don't get a error warning daignostic file because I crash straight to desktop, no "Client error" window
