Title: Logged out, and all my subscriptions are labelled unread.
Post by: zanzibar on December 05, 2006, 10:01:10 pm: This is a weird bug. I just vissited the forums, and I had to resign in, and all my subscriptions are now unread. I have 8 pages of unread threads on "new replies to your posts".

I know I post a lot here, but 8 pages is a bit much even for me! What's up?

* Added option to limit number of personal messages that can be sent per hour
Could be a welcome addition to prevent spam :)

Post by: bilbous on December 07, 2006, 12:41:20 am: I have noticed a couple times now that I will get an error to the effect that session verification has failed please logout and back in again, it just happened to me if you have error logs you can check my most recent login prior tothis post to pin down the time frame to look at

Anywhoo, I'll try my best to live of to my new position. Karyuu's got big shoes to fill.

i always get the "Session verification failed. Please try logging out and back in again, and then try again." message when i try to mark a thread as unread

Looks like an issue with the default theme that we have. It is a custom theme and probably needs to be updated for the SMF version 1.1. I use the Babylon theme and don't get that error. The difference as I can see is that in the default theme the session ID is missing in the link behind the "Mark Unread" button.

EDIT
As a matter of fact I just discovered that doing this appears to prevent the error from repeating.
