There may something bad with your settings, cause I'm seeding continuosly from my dedicated server (>250G/week) or try:

Hey, i'm quite a newbie at BitTorrent, so can one tell me what is the seeding for? I close BitTorrent while seeding and it might be the reason why it doesn't work well, are you saying so?

A seeder is a peer that has a complete copy of the torrent and still offers it for upload. The more seeders there are, the better the chances are for completion of the file.

A seeder is that where you are downloading (leeching) from.
