Title: Is it a bug ???
Post by: mb2love on December 15, 2006, 07:35:45 pm
when I'm fighting a mub my mental stamina is draining low (how mental stamina is connected to fighting rather then magic I do not know) , and when it reaches 10% I cannot fight. (I am "tired")
BUT if I switch to bloody stance I am able to attack even if my stamina is zero without ever getting tired !
is it supposed to be like this ? or is it a bug ?
does my character get tired by blocking and not by fighting ?

It could be that you are using a bugged weapon if your stamina is draining fast, check to see it has a speed factor of less than 1.0. I am not sure about bloddy stance, I never use it.

Even with 0% Mental Stamina you can use the bloody stance.

Bloody is always available.

As for why your mental stamina is draining, as bilbous mentioned, it could be your using one of those CRAZY speed weapons, .2 or .3 that drain it really really fast.

If it's not that, than your WILL is Very very very low, probably 30 or so.

I find it very strange that the WILL power is connected to physical ability to fight longer and not stamina or some other physical ability/state.
Will is more connected to magic or resistance , but I can find a connection to fighting two (will to fight longer).

It seems then that WILL reflects the designers' wishes to partially emulate the willpower it takes to endure the wounds, pain, and mental anguish of fighting.   At least there is no WILL penalty for having a scarier-looking or more intimidating monster.
