I must say, so far I am absolutely impressed - the GMs, based on everything I have read already, are by far better than any other I have seen in premium Pay-For games. Keep it up, guys! I can't wait to start playing - waiting for the download to complete.

hmm problem with the pay variants is that the GMs there often need to be paid or given some other kind of bonus for them to actually be good at their job and even then they useally only just do what they are required to do.
I have to say the PS GMteam is a very good team and I am proud to be able to be part of a game that gets people so involved. :)

The more siginifcant problem is that they're not allowed to be good. Because that would mean kicking lots and lots of players, or otherwise putting them off the game. And that would mean less money for the company. So they force their GMs to use sub-standard rules in order to have most players, well knowing that quality and enjoyment suffers. Needless to say, if you are in such an environment, your GM-job isn't actually enjoyable anymore, so obviously you'll end up doing only what you must, since you're not allowed to do a good job, anyway.
I have to say the PS GMteam is a very good team and I am proud to be able to be part of a game that gets people so involved. :)
Indeed. GM quality has even risen recently, as in fact all aspects of player involvement have.

I would like to second that and add, be careful who you're asking, if it's an evil bastard he'll most likely make you walk directly into an ulber(ulbernaut: big guys, watch out for these ;)) pit or something.

As someone who RPs a... shall we say "slightly" less than reputable character in game, regarding IC actions Peacer is generally right. So just a tip, if someone gives you the brush off (in a completely IC way of course) don't take it personally. However, I would like to point out that usually after Marq has told someone to get lost, I often send a /tell helping them out OOC so, really don't be too afraid to ask "evil" characters. After all, there is a big difference between being an "evil b@stard" IC and one in real life. ;)
Edit: And as further proof of this, many of the people who have RPed some of the most "evil" characters in game have also RPed other characters that are some of the nicest and most helpful. :)

Yes... this reminds me that perhaps I should RP an evil character for a change...
And by the way... sometimes the GMs make some events in the game, interesting roleplays...
Stay sharp (Both you and your character) and you may notice when they happen...
