we should have characters who have backrounds from
two races like a half elf or one part Xacha and another part Ylians. the same for elves, dwarves ect.
-
I heard that the devs dont like that idea, but I could be wrong.
-
For common genetic rules, an individual will have a prevailing race that will determine its physical traits. For this reason, the main races are relatively pure. In other words, it can\'t happen that the races merge together forming a single mixed race: if someone has a lemur father and an elf mother, he will belong to one race or to the other.
Explains it all. I think the Ynwynns are the only vague exception, being a cross of Diaboli and Dermorians. But I think the crossbreed was formed a long time ago and they are now an independant species.
-
Side note - I know plenty of people enjoy writing character biographies, so who is to say that such crossbreeding by parents cannot be added in on an individual basis? Sure, in game a player will look more like the dominant genes they got, but their history could be something completely different.
Just a thought for those who enjoy being half this/half that. :))

I know I most likely wont be half and half but If others want to I thing they can but it might be funny to see a clan of 5 fariey-giants running around. LOL :P
-
yea, that could be implemented,
now that i think of it, I need to write my bio!
-
Yeah, we can have a bunch of newbies with \"1337 mom and Pwn Dad\" with a history of \"i kill u n take ur l00t stupid fukin lozer n00b\"
-
I was thinking 31337 instead of 1337, but whatever you\'d like Link.
