Title: Problems with Updater
Post by: Mogadir on December 28, 2006, 01:37:54 pm
Hello,

I have installed the newest Version 0.3.017 of Plane Shift. When I now want to login I got the message that I am not running the correct version of Planeshift. Please launch the updater.

When I want to start the Updater (normaler or recover mode) I got immediatly an error message from Windows XP.  The message in German

"Die Anweisung in "0x00ab817a" verweist auf Speicher in "0xbf1c3400". Der Vogang "written" konnte nicht auf dem Speicher ausgeführt werden."

in English

"The statement in "0x00ab817a" assigns to memory in "0xbf1c3400". The operation "written" could no be done on for the memory."

Can someone help me? Maybe to install a new Updater or to do the update manually?!?

Best regards
Mogadir

Can you post your system specs for us?

[ Just in case you're unsure how: Your processor and RAM can be found by right-clicking on the "My Computer" icon and clicking on "Properties," and your video card is listed on the "Display" tab when you type dxdiag into the run command. ]
