ok, im seriously goin to freak out this happened to me before but i fixed it somehhow, prolly using crystal way :D
Doesnt really matter where i am, if i turn and look around sometimes, well frequently, my screen freezes, goes to black and doesnt recover. i have to manually shut the tower off and restart it, when it comes on it says "your system recovered from a serious error" seeing as how i shut my comp off i cant really get a message from planeshift.
so far today it happened somehwere down some stairs in the arena, behind harns, and in the tavern. i have to bug the same game master, sorry caarrie, with an alt to get my charactor moved to the DR. then i turn around and that same thin happens to my alt. its extremely annoying seeing as how i have dial up and have to restart the comp, dial up msn, sign on, wait about 5 minutes, then it happens again!
everythign was fine till this morning, i reformated my computer and saved the client to a disk, takes me about 3 days to download the client if i didnt. i do everything, set up the comp, comp is running fresh like a newborn, and this starts... any suggestions? im about to just massively post everywhere on the forums to waste time instead of playing =)

-Start-->Execute-->dxdiag
Look at system/video/screen and post the info.
Also try to test your memory, you can do that by writing a program like memtest86++ onto a USB-stick and plug it in before reboot.

i hope this helps.... i notice my driver date is almost 3 years old, but before.... i didn thave this problem. any suggestions? if its the update any idea where to go for the update... but i really dont think its the update

Check here (http://www.viaarena.com/default.aspx?PageID=2) how to get the latest drivers for your integrated videocard.
The website is completely screwed up for me though so it's possible they're having technical difficulties too ;)

thom, thanks for all your help, since i've been playing you've been the most professional, most helpful person i've met on this forums....
turns out i was running in 1024x768 and i guess my monitor and graphics card couldnt handle it, i switched to 800,600 and it runs just fine.... easy fix, kinda makes me feel dumb

I was actually going to ask about your settings but then I read you did a clean install so I figured everything was at default.
