Title: When will it be safe to update?

I'd like to know when it will be possible to update the game on the Mac. I recently tried using the Java updater, which caused the game to crash before even loading (Luckily, I did this on a backup copy of the game.)

I can still play, but there are some annoying issues like the landscape texture bug in the field, which are going to be fixed in updates, but I don't know when I should update.

it you can play..then don't update it.  :P
