Title: Settings

I've read the history of the gods and many races in Yliakum but I fail to find information on settings no matter how hard I look, maybe i'm just looking with my eyes shut  :P

Can someone point my in the right direction for such information, It would be appreciated and would help me in any future RP, Thanks in advance

I presume you've seen this section (http://www.planeshift.it/setting.html) of the website? The links on the sidebar lead to further information.

If you're asking for more, on the other hand, perhaps you can name some specific questions on the setting?

I suppose i'd be asking for information on how many different levels there are in Yliakum, Background on races but i suppose that's explained in the history, What the different cities are called, if they are in-fact named, and just any general tips/information to help my RP keep with settings.

I occasionally make mistakes, but i'm new to RP, so any information like above I believe would help me not only keep with the settings but help my RP improve in the future.

Any help or tips are welcome  :)

There are eight levels, and the last two are filled with water:

Some background for the races can be found in the Settings section - both in the History and on the individual Race pages. There isn't a lot, and I'd very much want this section to grow. There's some neat information waiting to be released :]

Not all the cities in Yliakum have names yet, so it's hard to get down to such a level of detail. We'll all have to make do as best as we can while we wait for the game to expand. As long as you're not doing anything outrageous - creating massive sky-cities for example - you're free to populate the world with little towns or villages here and there. It's really unavoidable at this stage. Just have to keep in mind that once the world grows, your RP will have to adapt.

There is a lot of cool stuff in our Q&A sessions (and we're lagging behind again this month :<) but you can find a good three months worth of setting questions and answers here (http://hydlaa.com/smf/index.php?board=45.0).
