Finally, the much awaited Peacer cuardian vid is up :thumbup:

I also have a SUPER high quality NTSC source, just for me on my computer, but it's 80 megabytes.
I didn't think you guys wanted to download another 80 megabyte file, so i'll only upload it, if someone personally pm's me, asking for it.
Then i'll use up an hour uploading it for them :)
I hope you guys liked it, took forever to film, and i worked hard on the editing.
Peacer cuardian is a great character in game, as well as a great person in real life.
He's helped change the game alot over the time he has played.
Joining the ranks of people i know, such as Gharan, peacer has encompassed what we all seek, a great overall player, who strives for the betterment of the community.
He also duels well too ;D , so don't double cross him lol ;)
Hope you guys enjoy the vid, i'll be sending a surprise holloween video soon, more info on that later.

Aye, I watched. To be quite honest I think you aimed a bit higher than you could reach with shots from a game. You can't make something profound and meaningful to others with a shaky camera in a game. I thought it was an average sort of spliced together shots of someone playing sort of video till I saw the thread in which you anounced what each shot was ment to mean. That I think showed you in a bad light. Either the people were'nt smart enough to pick up on your subtleties or you done it too subtly. Either way I think it came of as arrogant.
Not trying to be a(n) [insert vulgarity here] about it. Just my opinion.

Hmm, I was about to set up a cultus, claiming that the world would end on the day that the Peacer vid came out.
Bummer :'(
I must say, I think it's your best movie so far.
Mostly because I like the way you filmed it and because I like magic effects.
The bad parts were the one where you see Peacer attacking an ulbernaut, you can see the chatwindow in that shot and nothing really happens, too short.
I also disliked the end of part 2 with all the running around. Before that you would show the magic effects, show some close ups of the contestants and after that show the dead body with Peacer standing beside it. I liked that, but not the running around.
In short: good movie, ending could be better.

Alot of people who hated fighting, loved the truth to disbelief.

I'll see if i can add more magic effects to the next vid, they've been scarce, as you can tell, in most of my vids.

Hmm it was restound who attacked one, not me :p, and the meaning with that part was for restound to be transfered to an ulber through a portal... that's what really happens there :p. Thought it could be a kinda funny shot with teleporting someone to an ulber xD.

I liked it :)
A few things I noticed, first off it seemed a little dark to me (YouTube version), many things were hard to make out, especially in DR. Maybe that is just my monitor at work. second, When you do your pans do you use the keyboard? it looks like it, you could get a much smooter pan if you used mouse look. Third, the name tags. fourth, having your interface visible, I think it would look alot nicer if it had the full interface hidden.
Other than that I think it was great :)
I liked the music alot. Nice action shots, didnt really understand the Ulber bit though. Loved the magic stuff, seeing all those pretty spells I dont have ;)

1 of those problems is going to be fixed.
I'm uploading my vids on a site WAY better than youtube, but it is a youtube clone basically lol.
Don't get me wrong, it has alot of new bells and whistles, and the quality is excellent..... but it's basically a clone.
The best part, is it's a BETTER clone, from now on i upload my videos to that site.

OOHH! that sites quality is much nicer, the colours look much more vibrant. It does seem to buffer more slowly though. maybe bigger vids?

I don't want you to wow me. I'm just saying that its incredibly hard to make a video that can wow people in the way you tried with 'Truth to Disbelief' when using computer graphics like those in PS. Maybe a little content like prehaps a story or some such as these images are totally familiar to us. Just when watching your videos we have to put up with the music (Not a personal insult it just doesn't fit and isn't to most peoples tastes.)

I want to wow you lol. I've always wanted to make an ongoing series of stories in Yliakum.. but it takes SOOO much work i've given it up.
There are soo many hurdles to get past, like do i write text for what the characters are saying? Do i record everyone's voices? What if everyone doesn't have a microphone?
Hopefully i'll have the answer.
As for the music, me and peacer agreed on these 2 songs, not my fav either, but i liked them.
And i've had a huge response on my last vids, as for the songs in them.
I've been told i find rare music, that sounds really nice, and spread it here.
I hope the majority like it, i'm making the vids for them :thumbup:

Ya, isn't it amazing idoru.
Basically, Youtube takes your file and COMPLETELY converts it to something else.
While Livevideo, Takes the file, and only compresses it, but you still have the original file, so yes it does sometimes take a while to buffer.
It's well worth the wait though :D

What about a comical silent film, with all the old-film effects? The voice-problem gets taken care of, and you can find soundtracks that people will agree will match the movie content ;) That leaves you to write the script, or to collaborate. I'd love to see something like that.

Ye old browned cracked style film with a special skin for the character with a Charlie Chaplin style outfit! Have twenties swing. Some Stefan Grapelli maybe.

If i did go on to do that, i'd definetly mention in the movie, that it was all parallo and karyuu's idea.
But ya, a silent move might do, and then i'd put up text for what they are saying.
