Title: Character Creation Won't Work

I have the latest version of the OSX client (3.017) and I have OS 10.4. I haven't yet made a character, because when I try to, the game crashes. I can choose the species, gender, and name, but when I get to the features, and try to change "skin tone" the game crashes every time... is there any way to fix this?
