Well, it seems in my first few minutes in the game I ran off a cliff and am now stuck in the death realm. Any ideas as to how I can escape?

You're not going to find any walkthroughs on the forum - this is considered spoiler material! (http://img151.imageshack.us/img151/7151/pleasedhc3.gif) Try asking the fellow dead around you for help, or worse comes to worse, follow people around until you reach the exit. You're looking for a portal in the shape of a large open mouth, and the only hint I can give is to always check down ;) Good luck!

Yeah, there's really only one part in it that's complicated. Once you follow Karyuu's hint, it's basically a straight shot out.

If you fall from a structure then generally it is a long fall down, and you die and return to the starting cave of the Death Realm. However there are places where this long fall can be survived, and all you can do then, is endless wander the darkness, and if you look up you can see structures way above you:
Type: /die
If you become stuck in the landscape and cannot move:
Type: /unstick
Now you can return to the quest of finding the path that leads to the Portal out! :)
