Title: thoughts.

hey im pretty new to these forums. i have been reading alot of threads and from what i can see you people are kinda trying to aim for a game that is a mix of the best parts of many MMORPGs. You basically are saying it will eventually have the species system of SWG, (different species are better at certian things then others) be free like diablo 2, (wont be pay to play) have a trading system kinda like RO, (item trading is based on money other then a rare item, like diablo 2 is with the soj) will have the customization of UO, (you can see all the items you are wearing for the most part and you can change your hair color) and will have a controled pvp system unlike the old abboned game called elemental saga where pking was on a chaos level. I may have mispelled something or made a sentence wrong so please try not to flame me for it. also i think i am forgeting some or aspects of the game you people are aiming for but anyways i think this game will be a hit in another year or more so i plan to stay with the game if you people are planing to do all this stuff and my guesses were accurate. so anyways im prob. making very little sence now (bad at wrighting stuff) so ill be off.


edit: oh ya forgot another point you people are trying to go for a game that has almost the same engine as everquest and SWG but better.

A year? Hah, It took them a year to get where they are now, which is pretty much nothing. It will never be as good as everquest. Well, it may be better, but never as big as Everyquest, not even close. Lag and downtime will be a problem when they are begging people for servers.

make that 6 or 7 years.  It takes years for a company like blizzard to make a game.  This is a much smaller team that doesn\'t get payed.

I can just immagine a person comming back in 7 years complaining about how it should have been done by now. LOL ;)

I don\'t think it will take 6 or 7 years to get the game out guys. It will probably be only a couple (3?) untill there is a practically complete game, where any changes or additions are more like expansions than finishing the game itself.  There probably won\'t ever be a \'finished\' game, as they will most likely just keep adding new stuff.

That is of course, it they all actually keep working on this, and not improtant stuff in their lives  ;)
