Example Case:
A noob just entered my guild, asked some questions and walked silently his way.
In the middle of the night, as noone of us where there, he walked to Hydlaa Placa and shouted there in a very bad OOC manner. I can't tell here what exactly, cause it was insulting and not youth-free. Indeed so strong, that the "Outlaws" would be shocked and are hiding their children :)
As I got the chance to get the person by talking to him, but he said: "He loves this and will do it further on with other chars, maybe".
I'm not in worry about the reputation of my guild, cause I've got the chance to talk with the people around him. In fact they contacted me several times and while the duration of nearly a week.
But I'm really in concern about younger people which are living here.
What shall I do now? A petition I had wrote was silently deleted? Accept this?

If you have a problem with a player and a gm is not on /report <name>. Without a report to read a GM can do nothing to help.

And if you care about your guild, throw him away. I would give him a chance though. But is someone like being a jerk ad enjoy it, i wouldn't expect im to stop. I wouldn't stop.

i think any world that has nothign to do with the world of PS such as the 7 famous words or other words that were either unheard of in this time, or have no need to be used in this game to play should be automatically deleted. like a filter only u dont see symbols it just doesnt show up on the chat.

If you have a problem with a player and a gm is not on /report <name>. Without a report to read a GM can do nothing to help.
As I got the information only from others and met the responible person some days later, I couldn't do a report :( I hope the involved persons did :)

Sure, it took only 1 miniute to talk with him and he left the guild without any explantation. My /tells to him where without any success, too.
But it's not a guild problem which makes me worry. The [Player] behind this char seems to be a person without any agreement to "Roleplay Policy" (http://www.planeshift.it/policies.html#roleplay).

Indeed there is some truth, but the person we are talking about was to stupid and he misspelled all words.
/me can't really decide what to do and is happy that his children are to young to understand words like this

You know roleplay? Some are friendly to you, but are talking lies about you to others behind your back?
But that's not the question. He would do it weather he's in my guild or not. The problem is player related - not guild :) The only reason why I got this information about this player and getting involved was: He was in my guild. Do you know each of your guild OOC?

How is it stupidity that enables someone to bypass the filters? It seems likely the misspellings were purposeful. It is quite possibly an elaborate hoax to discredit someones guild, to test the guild-masters diligence, or just to have some malicious fun at someone else's expense.

Report to GMs. Kick out of your guild and ignore.
These people are attention whores and the sooner everyone ignores them the sooner they will get bored.

If that is was the question: He asked some of our "Invitors" to join the guild. The lowest rank of the guild is a noob rank. We don't have any screening process.
As I investigated later: He was not more than totally 10 hours online, but had a to much experience InGame for beeing a noob.
But weather he is in my guild or not, wouldn't solve the problem. I don't think he did it to corrupt the guild.
I hoped writing a petition (others did too concerning to this char) would result in an investigation by GM. I think he's clever enough to delete his char and doesn't come online again.

I was the Gm how reviewed the petition and unfortantly there wasn't enough information from your petition Quantus for me to act on it. The other petition you were hoping was sent, has not been and without the proper information as Caarrie pointed out we Gm's cannot do anything. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful but with names in the petition only there wasn't much I could do. Hopefully this will be cleared up in the near future.
As for this character joining Quantus guild, alot of these sorts of people get through even the guilds screening process. People can put on a face and pretend and fool those around them. The headache comes when they no longer maintain that mask and let their true nature shine though. I have seen awesome guild leaders be infected with this sort of attitude from time to time. Sometimes screening doesn't prevent it, it just weeds out the ones with less of an attention span.

In fact that's not true. If you are having a guild with more than 50 active members, there are allways some of them which are not according to RP-rules. One OOC-goal of our guild is to teach that well behaviour to them.
Should we leave them alone?
But once more:
The question was not: "How should I organize my guild?"
The question was: "What shall we do with an OOC penetrating guy regardless he's a member of my guild or not?"

Parallo that is kind of a lame thing to say. As Akaye rightly said people are not always what the pretend to be and short of letting people in you've known a long time IC there is not much you can do and most of them already have a guild. Personally if I were to start a guild, I'd charge 100k tria to enter it to ensure people were serious. Somehow I think it would never get off the ground...

That's how you would organize your guild, but that wasn't my question :)

Personally if I were to start a guild, I'd charge 100k tria to enter it to ensure people were serious. Somehow I think it would never get off the ground...
All I'm saying is that I wouldn't let just anyone in. I'm genuinely not trying to say he's doing a bad job as guild leader or anything and I understand that its unavoidable to have a few but letting anyone in is a bad idea. I'm only commenting because the only members I've seen from Quantus' guild, Donari and Quantus aside, have been acting immaturely and OOCly.

Sure, you are right and that is a problem which is hard to solve. Congrats to Donari, but there are some other well RP-guys too.
You shouldn't hesitate to give me a tell or PM with some names of people which should go to RP-school again.

We can not use players logs please use /report <player name> next time we can only use logs off the server
