Title: Help Me!!!
Post by: dragonexpert19 on February 01, 2007, 10:29:44 pm: Okay... I have installed the client (Windows), and I have installed the game. How do I connect to the real game? I cannot find out how! I cannot find detailed enough instructions on how to actually login to the server... please, help me! :@#\

Post by: Karyuu on February 01, 2007, 10:54:09 pm: If after installing the game you cannot find a shortcut to "PlaneShift Crystal Blue" on your desktop, click your Start button and look at the list of programs. Alternatively, browse to C:\Program Files\PlaneShift Crystal Blue and double-click on psclient.exe - this will start up the application.

Post by: emeraldfool on February 01, 2007, 11:19:58 pm: Where is it you're stuck on? When you say "login to the server" do you mean you can't get passed the login window (where it asks for email and password), or that you can't actually open the game (psclient.exe)

UPDATE
I tried your method, Karyuu, I cannot find it on my start menu either.

What you need to do now is to wait for the actual game to download - this can take several hours, and you will see the progress in the BitTorrent client. If you're not familiar with torrents and this seems like too much to figure out, you can just use the Mirrors on the download page to get the actual install file to the game.

I installed the newest version, and it still doesn't work! I am having the same problem as the user who posted about the failed server as well, i think...

Post by: Karyuu on February 13, 2007, 11:43:27 pm: If you've run the updater, it probably screwed things up for ya. Uninstall entirely (no folders left behind) and then reinstall - but leave the updater alone.
