Title: C++ Runtime error

Hello,
i've played plane shift nealry the whole day yesterday and now suddenly there appears this c++ runtime error and i can't log in anymore.

Maybe you can help me

my system:

1ghz pentium 3
512mb ram
nvidia geforce 2 mx 400
windows xp pro

What kind of error are you having? There's probably an "error at address ...." somewhere in the message.

it's an exception access violation

an there is number which is 697296f5 maybe it helps you.

and after that there is this runtime erroro and planeshift closes

Ah, that's more helpfull.
Planeshift should've generated a "dump file" for you, it contains all the information that the devs need to debug the crash.
Try to find the dump file in the main Planeshift folder on your hard drive. It should have the access violation address in it's name.
Look at this thread (http://hydlaa.com/smf/index.php?topic=26465.msg297916#msg297916) to read what to do with the dump file next.

Just for making things simpler, according to the thread, that code is related to a problem with the particle system.
It probably happened while somebody casted a spell (magic missile, most probably) or if you were in the BD area.

Turn on Vertex Buffer in Pssetup or otherwise, be patient and tolerate the crash ;)
