Title: Post your Wii Numbers!
Post by: Siteri Kidachi on February 02, 2007, 10:23:00 pm
If you have a Wii, post your Wii Number here so PS players can send Miis and messages to each other!

Mine is 8886-1591-7108-4056.

(If you don't know how to find it, you have to go to the envelope icon on the main menu, then on the letter icon in the corner, then on the Address Book, then hit the left arrow on the screen.)

And by posting it in the open internet, you open up yourself to the newest form of spam.   :whistling:

Just imagine, you're playing a game at your Wii then suddenly:

Quote
Congratulations! You are the person # 1,000,000 that received this message through your Wii. Press any button to receive your prize!

It's the end of the world  :P

Not to mention all those creepy Wii-stalkers...

You know they're out there. Waiting... and playing with themselves... and their Wii...

Actually, I'm pretty sure that in order to get a message on your Wii, you have to register the e-mail address or number of whoever it is that wants to send you messages... So any spam you get will be from people you WANT talking to you... which is a contradiction.

That's true. Which kinda sucks really. You can only communicate between existing friends - people were going on like it would be this revolutionary new thing where you could contact people over the internet through your Wii's controller.
