Pls help. ive downloaded everything and checked for updates, but when I try to run the game it says that the hard drive isnt running!
I REALLY NEED HELP!!! :'(
-
The Server is currently down for a big update. As such, no one can log in to it at the moment. Should be back up within a day or two.
-
Please don't post in all caps, for one, and don't use a title like "VERY IMPORTANT." It's misleading.
This isn't something I've seen at all in the past - our server is down at the moment due to updates so you aren't going to be able to play anyway, but if you can't even get to the login screen because of this message there may be something up with your system. Has this ever happened before with another application?
-
Okay... the "hard drive isnt running" thing is gone, but it's been replaced by another one that says, "No Hardware Acceleration"
X-/.... What should I do? :sweatdrop:
-
That sounds like a graphics card problem. Have you got the latest drivers?
What card have you got fitted?
-
I doubt it said "The Hard Drive isn't running" though :P
-
“No Hardware Acceleration” usually means you either:
1.) Have very outdated drivers for your graphics card
2.) Have a very outdated graphics card, or
3.) Have a distinct lack of anything that could be considered a graphics card
Solve this by:
1.) Updating your graphics card drivers from the manufacturer's website
2.) Buy a new graphics card, or
3.) Buy a graphics card ;}
If you don't know what graphics card you have, you can (on Windows) point to the Start button and click Run. Type "dxdiag" (no quotes) in the box and press return. In the new window, go to the Display tab, and read "Name" and "Manufacturer". "Name" is the name and model of your card, and "Manufacturer"... is self-explanatory :]
For NVidia, visit www.nvidia.com (http://www.nvidia.com)
For ATI, visit www.ati.com (http://www.ati.com)
For anything else, use www.Google.com (http://www.Google.com) to find the correct manufacturer address.
Posting your system specs may be helpful.
