Title: Free art program

Hi,
i was wondering if there was any totally free decent art program out there to draw pictures on (basically a better version of paint)
if someone could help me out it'd be appreciated

Inkscape (http://www.inkscape.org/?lang=en&css=css/base.css) is a great free art programm for vektor graphics :)

im planning on doing munga sort of drawings. basically i need a program that will make the lines more curved (not like screwed up when the mouse screws up a lil bit)

Hey, thanks. Gimp is really good i drew a picture took a picture of it and went over it with some stuff on gimp and this is how it turned out  \\o// :thumbup:
