It really is amazing tho how many registered accounts there are

Anyway the amount of inactive(never play) accounts isn't small :(
And of course, this is a magical number as well! Yeah, yeah, someone sooner or later will make his or her post number 1337...

Total PS accounts: 340,000 or so.
Accounts never used: 112114
Total characters used less than an hour : 141557
Total characters active more than ten hours: 9416
Accounts active in the last 30 days: 14787
Accounts created in the last 30 days: 18103
Accounts created in the last 30 days never used: 7614
Active accounts older than 30 days (repeat players, I like to call them): 4297
Accounts active in the last week: 3632
Active accounts in the last day: 1021

but if ever we have to sell ps to anykind of marketing for anything. the number we will give is 340k+. unless they ask otherwise of course.

Well not a huge number compared to some games but nevertheless a good number for planeshift. That's a good start considering this game will only get better as time goes on.

How sad, more than 50% just make the accounts, say "This game sux" and leave, or don't even test the game at all, and just make the accounts in antecipation of once it reaches a great mark like version 0.5 for example

Isn't the concurrent players number more important than the total registered players ???
New record seems to be ~280 players :thumbup: :detective: :woot:

I might have an account or two that has been used less than an hour, definitely not used more than 10 hours. although they are being used as storage...I know I have three accounts and I think I have four, I'll have to try to login with my others at some point just so I remember them.

Well, it's good anyways as those numbers of people who don't play PS may come back when they see how great this game is. It's not as large as other game files too; only 250mb. :)

I wonder how many of these accounts are alts. It seems almost everyone in PS is an alt but Valorius.
Makes it hard to trust anyone in game, to be honest.
