Title: At loading, get the message "New updates available" and still trouble with BD

Hi, this time i got no troubles installing ps and make it running. I played a couple of times.. all ok. Now at start i get the message 'new updates available" i've searched everywhere and can't find anything. What are these updates..? can we d/l them?

Also, i still lag like hell in BD region when i face the waterfall or go in this direction. The ground is all black with some rocks...
I read that theres is a 'patch". I found it, and put it in my ps file renaming the old one just in case. Ok.. ps doesnt want to start (i logged out in bd region since i was lagging that much and try the patche so i can continue my quest) It's logging, but closed when loading region.
So i just erased it and put back my old version.. and forgot the idea to go in bd region again  :(

Can someone help me?

Ignore the "new updates" message.  BD is laggy and slow for various reasons that I can't do anything about right now.

And try to start the client in fullbright mode when you are in bd maybe that helps. How to do so is posted elsewhere.

ok.. thanks.. i will try the fullbright but the rest of the things are ok.. just the ground.. i will try anyway.. :)

I get the new updates availible message but it crashes the second I log in... any help?

Have you tried -fullbright? Also look at the last few posts of this (http://hydlaa.com/smf/index.php?topic=27867.15) thread.

Check out the Guide and see the part where it talks about PSClientCMD. Keep us up to date!

ok, i put in -fullbright

clicked psclientCMD.jar thing

opens, loads, login, "new updates availible", loads, chrashes.

'The application psclient_static quit unexpectedly'


In other words:  No dice :(

So you did this: "delete guildhouse from /data/zoneinfo.xml and try again"
and this: "create a new user, log in to the user, and install ps in that spankingly clean environment"
and the "-fullbright" thing
and it still didn't work? If that's the case, there's nothing I can do. I don't know what's wrong. :(
