Title: Rats "Impervious to attack" ?

It seems not matter where I go in the sewers to kill rats for points, I can't kill them, I "click" on them and get a nessage the it is impervious to attack....so how am I suppose to kill a rat for points/exp ?

Sometimes the NPCclient, which handles NPC actions, is down or is having problems. This is what causes the "impervious to attack" messages. NPCclient may crash on its own sometimes or is taken down by developers when some work needs to be done. Whenever this occurs, you'll have to wait until it is returned.

Maybe you should sticky and lock this or something. This question comes up waaay too much, they're obviously not getting the message...

I'm just saying, half the threads in this section are asking about this, why not have the answer blazing at the top?


I'm willing to bet most newbies would give up on the FAQ after reading through the first 10 questions. Especially if they believe this is a new critical bug that they've just found...

Since NPCclient controls the behavior of all NPCs, if its down you're unfortunately out of luck. Try to keep busy with something else :)
