Hey,
Ok, so I have an older mac G3 500Mhz, 700+ Ram and OSX 10.2.8.... I have the current version (Just DLd the game today, about an hour ago actually...), 0.3.018.....
Read through the guides about "How to run Planeshift on Mac OSX and have dug around this forum......
And I still can't seem to get the thing to work. I double click on the little blue Crystal Icon for the app "psclient", and it makes the motions like its gonna open, but then nothing...... I tried the updater just for gigles (Yes I DLd the one for mac OSX 10.2), and it comes up after about a 1-2 minute load time (Not complaining, just surprised), so I waited 10 minutes once for the PSclient thinking that maybe it just takes a longer time to load then the Updater, but again, no go.....
So, what am I missing?
Thanks,
Falcus
*edit*
never mind, found out what was going on..... Need 10.3 or higher <.<.
Really hate technology sometimes..... /sigh.
Well, thanks anyway, HF and GL,
Falcus

I think the new update requires OSX 10.3+ and you have 10.2.8.
Also try running the java updater that sometimes helps
