EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION at 00469F93
My char is located at first set of steps on way toward hydlaa gold mine. When launching i log onto server fine, maps load fine, then at about 95% of load bar i get the dreaded "BONK" and the above message flashes up.
I've had this happen maybe 3-4 other times in all the time ive been playing PS, but now it's done it about 10x in a row...
Please help, and thanx in advance. :)
Ive made no changes to any text files as described in various other threads.
Comp is a P4 (2.0ghz i think?) with 512mb ram and on-board 64 meg video. (and always worked before)

Moved your character to another map. Remember, if you don't see your crash code in the sticky thread, send Arianna an email with the dump.

I actually did send her the code before i posted, forgot to include that in last post. Thanks very much for the help. (hope it works!) :)
EDIT TO ADD: Nope, still not working, getting identical error code: 00469F93
I get audio, but no video.

try changing font scaling in setup to 50% and log in if that works remove some of your desc and put the font scaling back to what it was and try to log in then

My description is blank, but i'll try that. If that doesn't work i'll try a re-install. It always worked before today, and indeed was working today fine. Then my internet logged off (common occurance), so i relogged onto net, then onto game- hasn't worked since.
Few other notes of things i saw described in other threads: disabling audio didn't work, and vertex buffer is already on. I also created a couple test characters, one an enki and one a kran so i could try to log in at different locales, same error code for all.
Thanx for the tips, hopefully....
EDIT TO ADD: Negative on the font scaling, same problem and error code.

How about font scaling to 80%?

A full uninstall/reinstall did the trick nicely for this error code. Thanx so much to all who posted with help and suggestions!
