Title: Harnquist's Time Lapse
Post by: miadon on March 08, 2007, 09:46:13 pm: This was a film I made while I was waiting to finish the 2nd one. It has turned out differently than I orignally planned as I was aiming for something longer but it kept going wrong so I gave up and had another idea:

Post by: miadon on March 09, 2007, 10:48:14 am: well 1 minute of the film is roughly 1 PS day which is 4 hours of real time. so the filming is roughly 8 hours+ long. It was supposed to be longer and with different music but things kept going wrong so I changed it.

and it took up 2.8Gb of space. no compression @ 800x600 resolution.
Then once I compressed it and added audio etc it went to 33Mb

edit:

it actually filmed 17 hours but 9 hours of that was of a disconnected from server message.

Post by: miadon on March 09, 2007, 09:12:02 pm: abit but it was the longest length I had achieved so far. looking at the film makes me want to do a "Where's Wally(or Waldo for Americans)" type search. For instance can anyway spot the (Klyros?) who walks up the hill in the background. There was some other person I think it was a dwarf who walks down it. Anyway if anyone else spots anything interesting just say. :D
