Title: Getting back my password :/

Hi.

I've created an account on PS a long time ago. Recently i got the feeling to check how the game's looking now. The problem is that i can't cerate a new accorunt (e-mail allready in use) nor get back my password via "password recovery" (the mails just cant reach me; they're not in spam mail nor anything like that).  I know i can use another e-mail, but I'd prefer to have the old one back. What's wrong with the password recovery script ?? Could anyone help me with this ??

How long have you waited for the password recovery mails? As far as I'm aware of, the script works just fine and has been working all this time. There's really no point to having a preference for your login email, as it isn't used for anything at all besides acting as a username.

Well... I've been waitng for 2 days... and still no reply :/ I've tried dozens of times on different browsers with no effect.

There is a point... quite recently I had about 8 different e-mails and that made me go crazy...  now I'm sticking to one mail and I don't want to make any new ones. It creates incredible chaos.

You don't have to keep up with a new email account just for PlaneShift - it's not used for anything aside acting as a username, again. Make one really quickly in gmail, then forget about it :] There are no other suggestions I can make.

this is rediculous, how long does it take to recover a password?
I did the thing to recover it. I only have one email so it's not like I'm using the wrong one.

now that said. how long ago did you make the request? have you tried requesting the password again? what is the end of the e-mail address that you are using, everything after the @?

it seems the server is having issues sending emails, you could try to email rizin and see if she can help you get your password reset.

yeah it worked eventually.
sorry I was a bit impatient.
It had only been about 2 hours when I posted that,
and about an hour later I got the email.
Yeah, I tried it multiple times. And all 3 emails showed up at the exact same time, about 3 hours after I requested the 1st one.
=] I should know better than to expect things to move so quickly.
It all turned out fine in the end anyway.
