i was looking through the folder and was wondering if we can edit the ui and xml\'s much like diting EQ interface?

You are free to edit anything expect the art

Yes, I hope that at some point we will have many things that people can customize ( including adding in their own graphics ).   It would be neat if you can have custom designed UI skins / key maps  that you can share with your guild members or friends.
