Title: Congratulations ....
Post by: neko kyouran on March 12, 2007, 09:45:32 am
to Sangwa!

The newest member of the mod team.  Sangwa will be primarily in charge of the Guild section since I don't touch that place and karyuu needs more time to work on making artsy stuffs for you all to enjoy in game!

It's simple, you don't ask to become a mod.  You just wake up one day and find out you've been promoted into it.

LOL I guess it was some kind of "surprise" then!

Just one thing. I really doubt it will be a problem in this case, but I believe that most of guild forum mods should preferably have non-guilded characters to avoid future problems regarding biased actions from those who only seem mature enough to become mods to bring favouritism to their guilds(Although those who may attempt to do it in the future will get a payload against them and certainly be removed from the mod team anyway)

And fan-art mods shouldn't be artists ;)

Sangwa is more than perfect for the job. I've been feeling as a stand-in most of the time until someone like him could take over, and I've full confidence in his abilities. I expect no problems.

I'm sure that Sangwa is mature enough not to commit biased mod actions.

Well artists round here tend not to be at each others throats as much as guilds... or that could just be my experiance being a member of the outlaws  :P . Anywho im sure Sangwa is more than suitable being a grand oldie and all.

I'm doomed.  Sangwa is one of the few people on here who I disagree with often but end up agreeing with by the end of the discussion.

You are clearly accusing Sangwa of being biased, now you must prove it or  :ban:

:P

I accuse everyone of being biased because everyone is human.

I didn't mean biased as an absolute term, but as a relative one related to "highly biased" as it would be to interfere in a healthy discussion with moderating powers just because your opinion is losing the discussion.

PM me a case of a moderator locking a discussion simply because he was losing it then, and perhaps I may reconsider, because I never saw such thing here. There isn't any case of that.

I think you misread my post.
