I'm thinking for days now and searching all available ressources but I just couldn't find it out.
What was in the mind making this Gold Ingot price of 608 Tria ? Why didn't he/she just made it 600 ?
I found several possible explanations:
608
was it just a typing error ?
a hommage to the Peugeot 608 ?
the area-code of Wisconsin / US ?
or is it maybe 1337-Speak ?
So it would be the word "GOB"
I tried several translators for "GOB" and I always got two different translations for my language.
The first was another word for a "seaman" / "blue guy"
and the other was another word for "mouth"/"Muzzle"/"Snout"
Well, maybe someone can bring light into this mystery and help me to stop making myself a head about 608 ...

The Gold Ingot price is actually 760 Tria, but NPCs give you only 80% of it to make some profit. So you can now discuss, why 760 and not 700 or 800.

Hey Bereror it's your post # 777 !
Congratulations !
Looks as if you have to pay for a round ...
-
"GOB" could be an abbreviation of the german word "Gold Barren" which means "Gold Ingot".
-
I think GOB stands for areyoukiddingmeitsjustanumber.
-
i think it means the end of all living and breathing tertals as we know it...

Yeah, someones reading into this thing way too much.

The real mystery is why anyone would think this is a mystery.

I think people shouldn't take seriously Dan Brown's books. Or numerology for the matter...
Here is one:
6+8 = 14 -> 1+4 = 5
(5+1) * 111 = 666 :devil:
-
6+8 = 14 -> 1+4 = 5
What does that part mean?
So it would be the word "GOB"
I seriously doubt it has anything to do with GOB...

You can try to guess... :whistling:
But as Easter is coming, perhaps we should look not for "hidden meanings" in numbers, but for Easter Eggs in PS!

Hooray for Easter Eggs! \\o//
